Christmas Day 2010

Twas the night before Christmas...
Santa was here!!!

He brought some fun things for Courtney,
and Conner too!!
And even though Lilly got woke up for the celebration she was still happy!
Checking out what Santa brought.
And what??? Grandma made the girls blankets that matched their pj's from Christmas Eve. Could it get any better?? Too fun!
And Conner got some insulated coveralls, a hat and some gloves so he can stay warm while he goes to work. He has been helping out at Paul Parker's dairy for the last couple of months, which he loves to do. I'm so proud of him for it!
Love this!!
I was a little lacking in photos this year. I had a pretty bad cold and wasn't feeling real great for most of the weekend. :( Other than some yucky sickness in our home we had a wonderful Christmas. I am so thankful for this time of year and for the true reason we celebrate! What a wonderful time of year!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve will always consist of mom's yummy homemade chili and rolls for dinner, watching Christmas Vacaction and opening pj's from Grandma and Grandpa! I love this tradition! This year she made Courtney, Hadley and Kenzlie matching pj's that were absolutely adorable! Courtney was SOOO excited, she looks forward to them each year. And it's so special that they are hand made by grandma.

Grandma found these matching monkey slippers!! Too stinking cute!

Conner's pj pants! Thumbs up! Your so cute bud!

The triplets modeling their new pj's and slippers. ;)

And a book from mom! I totally spaced taking a pic of Conner with his new "Diary of a Whimpy Kid" book. What a slacker mom?? Sorry Conner!
I remember reading this book when I was about Courtney's age, had to share one of MY favorites with her. Love Ramona books!

Visiting Grandpa

On Chrismas Eve we made our traditional trip to Sunshine Terrace to see Clay's dad. This was Lilly's first trip to see Great Grandpa. He was really excited to see everyone and we all loved visiting with him.

Christmas Baking Day!

The Sunday before Christmas my sisters and I got together at my house and made all kinds of treats to give as gifts. We made an entire day of it and was lots of work but even more fun!
We made caramels...
Andes Mint Cookies
Pretzel Hugs
A double batch of Sugar Cookies

and even more sugar cookies
and Peanut Butter Bars!!
A big thanks to both of my sisters for their help! Ok Breck, you should be able to master the sugar cookies on your own! ;)

Teacher Gifts

The yearly tradition of note cards for all of my kids teachers.
Conner has 5 teachers at Willow Valley.
And Courtney really only has one but after the first month of school they added a new 2nd grade teacher and Courtney was chosen to move to the "new" class. We wanted to remember her original teacher as well. :)
